Eight submitted papers have been accepted for presentation at the workshop
and publication in the proceedings published by Springer-Verlag as well as
the IPPS/SPDP'98 CD-ROM.

In addition to contributed papers two invited talks will be presented by
Thomas Sterling (CACR, Caltech) and
