CALL FOR PAPERS

Description and Scope:

Bioinformatics is a fast growing scientific area aimed at managing,  analyzing and interpreting information from biological data, sequences  and structures. In the past few years, many Computational  Intelligence and  Machine Learning algorithms have been successfully  applied to the solution of complex problems typical of this field,  including signal and image processing, clustering, feature selection, data visualization, and data mining.

This session aims at highlighting recent advances in the applic ations  of Neural Networks techniques to Bioinformatics, from improving  protein-protein  interaction  to pharmacogenomic systems, from clustering  to data visualization and mining.

Organizers:

Francesco Masulli (1) and Roberto Tagliaferri (2)

(1)  Dipartimento di Informatica e Scienze dell'Informazione,
