An one-year funded
          Post-Doc position ("Assegno di ricerca") is available at
          DIBRIS - University of Genoa, (Italy).
          The deadline for application is 26/05/2021 at
          12.00 (Italian time) and the fellowship should
          start in Sept-Oct 2021. 
        
Research activity: Our research group participates in the EU-funded project "Developing Curricula for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics - DeCAIR" aimed at developing curricula for artificial intelligence and robotics through new bachelor's and master's programs in five universities in Jordan and Lebanon (see http://decair.ju.edu.jo/Home.aspx). This Post-Doc fellowship will concern the collaboration in the DeCAIR project through the development of case studies and computational intelligence prototypes with the aim of developing scientific collaborations with the universities of the partner countries and the European universities involved in the project and to operate the technology transfer towards the industries and communities of partner countries.
Required qualification: Machine learning, deep learning, computational intelligence; Implementation of deep learning algorithms on GPU architectures; Programming of embedded systems and edge AI.
Required degree:
          Master in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications,
          Mathematics, Statistics.

          self-motivated candidate, interested in
          the mathematical aspects of her/his research, in the
          development of new methods for intelligent data analysis, and
          in technology transfer, and skilled in programming 
          and  in  thorough experimental data analysis.
